Description:

Provides confidential STD testing and treatment at five of our health department locations. All information is kept private and confidential. Testing for Chlamydia or NGU, Genital Warts, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis B, Herpes, HIV/AIDS, Syphilis, and Vaginitis.
Responsible for the surveillance of reportable communicable diseases, other than TB, STD, and HIV/AIDS, including enteric diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, invasive bacterial diseases, arthropod-borne diseases, and other diseases.

Hours:

Hours of Operation: 7:30a to 5:00p, Monday-Friday. Some evening or Saturday hours. Call for information and to reach Call Center.

Intake Process:

Call for information or an appointment through the Call Center. Main: 727-824-6900. You will be referred to the Admitting Desk at the location of services.

Program Fees:

Sliding scale. Accepts Medicaid, Medicare, all insurances. Immunizations for children are free.

Languages:

English, Spanish, interpreter available as needed.

Eligibility:

General public and residents of Pinellas County for medical services, low income, uninsured 200% of FPL or meets requirements of particular health program.

The Volunteer Program of the Pinellas County Health Department enables members of the community, ages 14 and older, to donate their time to provide administrative office support, medical care and other critical services to those in need. Volunteers work in jobs assisting staff throughout our six health centers located in Clearwater, Mid-County, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg and Tarpon Springs.
