Description:

Federally-funded early childhood programs for low-income families with children ages 0 through 5 (Early Head Start ages 0-3, Head Start ages 3-5) including those with special needs. The programs promote school readiness by strengthening children's cognitive, social and emotional development.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Intake Process:

Applications are accepted daily at the Head Start Administrative office. Download the application from the website.
Parents must provide the following documents when applying:
- Birth Certificate (Proof of Guardianship/Custody if applicable)
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of Income for the past 52 weeks or previous calendar year (i.e. pay stubs, W-2, 1040, statement from employer, etc.)
- Documentation of child!€™s disability (if applicable)
- Photo Identification of Parent

Program Fees:

No fee for quaified families.

Languages:

English, Spanish

Eligibility:

Families must meet current Federal Poverty Guidelines in order to qualify for Head Start/Early Head Start. Foster children who are age eligible may qualify regardless of their family!€™s income.
